HANGZHOU, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Once China's most wanted fugitive, Yang Xiuzhu, was sentenced to eight years in jail Friday for embezzlement and taking bribes by a court in east China.

Yang, former vice mayor of Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, was number one on China's top 100 fugitives, which were released in an Interpol "red notice" in 2015. Enditem
